after meeting one another through work and spending months together on the road, a relationship developed. now, even being separated by states, nothing will keep this love from growing. he travels here, she travels there. their playful manner and loving comfort with each other holds no doubt that these two make the best of their time together and are one another’s best company.

we had some beautiful light along with a beautiful photo subject while in the northern dakota the other week. senior portraits are surely becoming a favorite!

nothing binds a relationship more than years of friendship and memories.
their bond dates back years. even spending time in cities separated by a long stretch of highway during college and years after, they stayed in touch. calling each other with life updates and stories. asking for advice. even a few attempts for a chance to take things beyond friends. but friends they remained. good ones, at that.
so after 14 years the chance finally came, to see what could blossom. an engagement and an upcoming wedding to celebrate their past and future together? we love this outcome.

it seems silly to compare a post of images to clothing & accessories, but this post is much like my wool socks and boots. they were THIS close to being stored away. alas, ma nature decides the fate of the day’s weather and brings upon another blast of winter. it brings me to the point of feeling okay about resurfacing these images, because after all, there is keen beauty in all moods of minnesota’s seasons. especially when you least expect it.
