isn’t it fun to re-meet people years down the road? this lovely couple were my ghosts from christmas past. but not really ghosts, nor did we meet in a past christmas. we had met briefly way back when through a mutual friend and not until the day of their session did it all come together and make sense as to why their names were so familiar. you’re THAT mark and kelley?! if i had some crazy psychic abilitiy back on the day we met, i would’ve told them, “my sister sidekick and i are going to take your pictures on your wedding day,” or “you’ll be kissing amongst trees, apples and pumpkins while filling your sweaters and shoe laces with burs.” although odd blurtings like that probably would not have panned out so well. good thing it happened the way it did.
we had a ball shooting these two and loved how layed back and cooperative they were. kelley’s contagious outbursts of laughter as mark did what seemed to be nothing at all were captured many a time throughout the afternoon. we can’t wait to work with this charming duo again on their wedding day!
