mark + kelley | minneapolis engagement preview

yet another session with some future tie-the-knotters. they were such a treat – willing to change outfits on the spot, put up with pesky south easterly winds and not mind my smooth talking to the park ranger who “should’ve been writing us a ticket”…oops. sorry state park grounds protector officer ranger sir. besides the wind, it was just a typical fall scenery complete with leafless trees, pumpkin patches and apple orchards. except minnesota is sadly past peak for beautiful leaf-on-the-tree colors – even the apples are surrendering to gravity. i’ve asked everyone i know whether or not they’ve carved a pumpkin yet, including mark and kelley. maybe they have by now, but i was convinced that late september was not too soon to carve away. now that there are pumpkins slowly rotting in the kitchen aromating the small quarters of this apartment, i think it’s time to send them down the garbage chute…and carve pumpkin #2 of the year. october is now designated to be the month of how many pumpkins can you carve. enough nonsensical babbling for now! go make a pumpkin’s day and carve one. here’s one of our favorites from mark and kelley’s session. happy thursday!
