sometimes we wonder if we’d be doing what we’re doing if we were never asked, “do you take pictures for people?” this was the question asked to us over a year and a half ago by elizabeth herself. fresh off a couple months of international travel, we had no clue what was in store for us. changes in life don’t always wind up being your bff. but taking harper’s pictures set us on a new path. it turned out to be one of those transitions that leaves a person forever grateful. it’s humbling to look around today and have those who were our big supporters in the beginning still by our sides. and with that said…
HARPER’S PARENTS ARE ENGAGED!!
the funny thing is, we’re going through a transition with our business. it’s the point where we have a clear vision as to where this amazing journey is headed. we couldn’t be more excited to start this next phase off with danny and elizabeth.
this is the couple that you meet and wish to yourself that you would’ve met them ages ago. danny and elizabeth have this thing. and it’s oh so pleasant to be around. we fed off their infectious energy and comfort with each other. not only that, they gave us the freedom to choose the where, when and how’s of the evening. they simply told us what they wanted and we ran with it. this creative freedom pushes us and keeps us inspired. most of all, this kind of trust is unbelievably powerful.
so here we have it. a game of hangman between harper and danny ended with him proposing to elizabeth and a wedding this fall. we cannot wait! but i suppose we’ll have to. :)
