it seems silly to compare a post of images to clothing & accessories, but this post is much like my wool socks and boots. they were THIS close to being stored away. alas, ma nature decides the fate of the day’s weather and brings upon another blast of winter. it brings me to the point...
while summer is in sight and within our grasp, it just can’t find its way fast enough. after the realization of the over abundance of photos piling up and the pondering of whether or not it’s time to part with some, i came across a few images from one of the hottest days last summer....

get out of dodge. pick a place and go. it’s one of my favorite things to do on weekends without plans. minneapolis has a tranquil feel to it, which i love. but if you need a dose of commotion, bust to chicago, and see that city. wind-less, but rainy on our 48 hour visit last fall.
attended the minnesota renaissance festival on opening day as a first timer. fun stuff.
